Back in 2010, TechViewz looked at Brazil’s IT services market in IT Market Study in Brazil 2010, where TIVIT appeared as part of a fast-growing technology-services landscape built around outsourcing, infrastructure and enterprise IT.

Fifteen years later, TIVIT is a very different company.

It has moved well beyond the old outsourcing model into cloud, digital solutions, cybersecurity, SAP, application modernisation and AI-related services. That shift reflects something much bigger that happened across the enterprise technology industry. The companies that once competed mainly on infrastructure, data centres and managed services now have to compete on cloud platforms, software engineering, automation and security.

TIVIT’s evolution did not happen overnight. The company gradually expanded its cloud business, digital capabilities and cybersecurity portfolio, while keeping its enterprise-services foundation underneath.

Then came another major change.

In 2025, TIVIT was acquired by Italian technology group Almaviva, giving it a broader international platform and tying its future more closely to digital transformation, cloud and AI.

That makes the old 2010 article more interesting today than it was as a simple market snapshot.

It captures TIVIT at a time when “IT services” still meant something quite different. Today, the same company operates in a world where enterprise technology is increasingly defined by cloud, software, cybersecurity and AI.

The company did not survive by staying the same.

It survived by changing what kind of technology company it was.
